The Woodlawn Youth Program is excited to announce this year’s High School-only Lock-in!
Join us at Friday, May 16 @ 8:00pm for games, snacks, craziness, and movies as we run wild through the church until Saturday, May 17 @ 8:00 am.
Is your freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior interested in joining us on May 16? Register them >> HERE <<.
Our general rules for the lock-in are as follows:
- Each participant who comes to the lock-in will be held to the covenant that our youth set back in 2024. These rules are:
- Treat others how you want to be treated.
- Do good deeds when others are in need.
- BE HONEST.
- Make sure everyone is included.
- Be kind and accepting to EVERYONE.
- Phones are allowed, but the kids are asked to stay off of them during group activities. They are only allowed to be out during free or break times.
- If anyone is found bullying others or watching inappropriate videos online, their phones will be taken away until the event has concluded.
- There will be no bullying, cyber- or in-person. In following our covenant: we must all be nice and inclusive to everyone. The kids will be told to avoid gathering into cliques and leaving others out.
- We will not be separating the kids by gender at any point during the event, but will we enforce rules of No PDA and No Snuggling. We will be expecting respectful conduct and no touching.
- There is to be no illicit drugs, alcohol, or paraphernalia to be brought or used during our lock-in time. Failure to comply with this will result in being sent home (and yes, Karis WILL call your parents!).
