Prime Timers Ice Cream Social w/ Curtis the Mentalist

Get tickets before they are SOLD OUT!  Woodlawn’s next “Prime Timers” event will be Tuesday evening, August 29th, 7 to 9 pm at the Hubbard Arts Center, 309 N Woodlawn Blvd. in Derby.  Enjoy an old-fashioned ice cream social with tons of toppings along with the antics of Curtis the Mentalist!

Curtis the Mentalist is big, bold, somewhat boisterous and comical; and within seconds he has the attention of the entire room. Then he reads your mind. To the astonishment of everyone, he performs the most remarkable and mind-blowing demonstrations anyone has ever seen.    He tells random people what they’re thinking, plays fun and incredible mind games, and does impossible stunts while completely blindfolded.  And he has everyone laughing the entire time he’s doing it.

While his shows are full of mind-blowing and comical displays of what appear to be psychic phenomena, he will be the first to tell you that he is in no way psychic, and that nothing he does employs supernatural abilities in any way.

Originally from the small town of St. Joseph, Illinois, Curtis has lived and worked all throughout the United States to include Alaska, Washington, California, Virginia, Oklahoma, and Kansas.  He is an 8-year, Persian Gulf-Era U.S. Army veteran, has raised two wonderful daughters (one a former U.S. Marine), has a four-year-old grandson, and has been married for 27 years.  He wears many hats and refers to himself as “Mentalist, Grandpa, Cool Dad & Above-Average Husband.”
