Special Church Conference

District Superintendent Dr. Kalaba Chali has called a special Church Conference for WUMC at 7 pm Wednesday, August 16th in the Parlor for the purpose of authorizing the purchase of property adjacent to the Thrift Shop for future Thrift Shop expansion.  A donor has committed to provide all funds to complete the purchase with no direct cost to the church or the Thrift Shop.

A Church Conference is required by the UM Book of Discipline anytime a congregation wishes to purchase real property.  The Conference will be presided over by the District Superintendent and may consider only the business for which the special Church Conference is called.
